Kristen Iversen To Read At Goddard College

Full Body Burden HCKristen Iversen will be reading portions of her book Full Body Burden at Goddard College on Monday, April 22 from 7:30-9:30pm.

Selected as Virginia Commonwealth University and Fort Lewis College’s 2012 Common Read, Full Body Burden is a haunting work of narrative nonfiction about a young woman growing up in a small Colorado town close to Rocky Flats, a secret nuclear weapons plant once designated “the most contaminated site in America.”  Through intensive investigative work based on extensive interviews, FBI and EPA documents, and class action testimony, as well as the powerful telling of one woman’s deeply personal story, Full Body Burden engages a key issue of our time in a profoundly unique and compulsively readable way.
