Kansas State University Students Dive Into Alternative Reality With Ready Player One

Ready Player One TPKansas State University’s Information Technology Assistance Center (iTAC) has designed an alternate reality game pilot based on the Kansas State Book Network 2013 book choice, Ready Player One.  The game will use narrative structure to draw students through a series of digital and physical spaces, and encourages students to use library resources and get to know the library systems.  All incoming freshman will be given copies of the book, and KSU has developed tie-in events to create a sense of community among first-years.
